Phuso Commits to Strict Ethics 

As a member of Federgon Recruitment, Search & Selection (RSS), Phuso has subscribed to the professional and ethical code for recruitment, search and selection agencies. Federgon’s RSS department, acknowledged by the minister as the representative professional federation, has drafted the following professional and ethical code. This code applies to the entire sector, according to the Decree of April 13, 1999 with regard to private labour mediation and its executive decision of June 8, 2000 (see the Flemish Community website). Indeed, the decree and its executive decision provide a protocol agreement between the minister and the Federation, allowing the sector to self-regulate in matters such as a behavioural code (Executive decision June 8, 2000, chapter 10), a complaint procedure (chapter VI) and an activity report (chapter VIII, art. 10§1). The department believes that the clients and the candidates benefit from the members’ execution of assignments within this legal framework and the sector’s ethical and professional code.

With this code, we commit, among other things, to:

  • Information: You receive all details about the position offered.
  • Transparency: You know what is happening in the procedure at any given moment.
  • Professionalism: Your candidacy is treated by a specialist.
  • Discretion: Is guaranteed throughout the entire procedure.
  • Respect: Our questions never pertain to your personal life.
  • Relevance: You are only submitted to tests that are relevant for the position offered.
  • Follow-up: You are always notified in writing, even when the outcome is negative.
  • References: Are only checked with your approval.
  • Courtesy: Throughout the entire procedure.
  • Cost: You pay no fees whatsoever.
  • Assistance: In case of conflict, you can consult an independent ombudsman.
  • Non-discrimination: Only your competencies matter.
