Protection of Privacy 

One of the conditions to be and remain certified as a private labour mediation agency in the Flemish Region is that the agency respects the employee’s privacy, and only requests and uses his personal data with the approval of the employee and to the employee’s benefit, pertaining to his professional engagement and in accordance with the law of December 8, 1992 for the protection of privacy with regard to processing personal data.

Compliance with this legislation is ensured by the “Commission for the Protection of Privacy”. Phuso has reported its automated processing of personal data to the Commission and was allocated the file number HM003000357.

This implies that Phuso respects The law of December 8, 1992. To this end, a number of measures have been taken in order to secure the release of data to third parties. In addition, the individuals in question are being notified that their data are being registered. The individual’s right to access his information and the right to correct and remove them, are ensured in art. 10-12 WVP.
